A seven-day documentary project, Week In The Life is an annual opportunity to capture the simple everyday details of your life with photos and words. The albums I’ve created using the basics outlined below are some of my most treasured in that they are wonderfully true representations of my family’s life at a particular point in time. From the mundane to the profound, it’s those simple little everyday moments that I treasure most.
Mark your calendar for September 9th through September 15th. More details to come or you can spend some time checking out posts from previous years (with tons of details, images and process information) here. You can grab Ali’s Daily Pages free download here.
I participated 2 years ago (July 2011) and am excited to do it again this week.
It will be interesting to see how the full week of documentation differs from our monthly Day in the Life exercises. Honestly, I don’t have a whole lot planned, so I imagine my week will include a lot of photos of sleeping cats and me working on the computer.
My plan is to put it all together in a Blurb book, but since I still haven’t finished 2011’s book, don’t count on seeing this one any time soon
