The rest of 2013 (I am a planner)

0 Flares 0 Flares ×

This time last year I started planning the final few months of the year …. I’m a planner, and I like to know what direction I want to be headed. Even if my path ends up veering off, I like to know roughly where I want to end up. (Not coincidentally, the last quarter of 2012 ended up being significantly different than I expected).

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW: I have ONE spot for consulting remaining and ONE spot for ebook/manuscript editing remaining each month September, October, November. And then THAT’S IT until 2014. Email me to snag your spot. If you are planning on releasing an ebook anytime in the next few months, make sure you get it finished and edited in time!

My plans:

30 Days of Lists: The rest of August and September will be listing, interacting with the Listing community, and doing more marketing and launch steps for the challenge.

Onward and Upward: Currently working on the workshop content; working on the marketing and launch steps for the next few weeks, and then the actual workshop will take me through the end of the year

December Daily: I’ve been loving this project the last 2 Decembers, so I’m looking forward to doing it again this year!

Maggie Keegan Gross: As Maggie’s Studio Manager and photo shoot assistant, I will be doubling, tripling, possibly quadrupling my hours for her through the end of the year. This will be her first busy portrait season with an employee so we’ll see how it goes!

My final wedding: For many (many) reasons I’ve decided to dissolve my photography business. But I have one last wedding in September – looking forward to shooting it, but also looking forward to closing that chapter of my life.

Mini-sites: I’m becoming obsessed with building little niche sites to build little streams of income. I’ve registered a few URLs and my goal is to have ONE of the sites up/mostly established by the end of the year.

Writing: I intended to write the 1st draft of a second novel by the middle of this year. Didn’t happen, so my new goal is to finish it by the end of the year. But it’s just for fun, so not a big priority right now.

Schubert HQ: We have a lot to do on our house, and I can’t relax in our hammock without thinking about it.

Plus: little things like keeping up with Project Life, meeting our new niece (due November), attending my cousin’s wedding, learning how to take time off (now that I don’t have a day job), and other little projects.

What direction are you headed in? What does the rest of your year look like?
