(Have you signed up for Project Life Lessons yet?)
I still love this project. I love having a home for things like photos of yardwork and self-portraits of my husband and I. Love them.
These weeks are 2 of my final 3 weeks still at the cubicle. I feel a little giddy just looking at these spreads. I can’t help it
These are my Project Life spreads the beginning of June (June 3 to 16) …. My weeks run Monday to Sunday – which I love, because they keep the weekends together in a chunk. So the images are *roughly* arranged from Monday on the left to Sunday on the right.
(if you’d like to see the images larger, you should be able to click through to view them on Flickr)
Week 23: June 3 – 9
Andrew’s friend Priscilla helped him make a lovely big stack of new Ghostbot Records business cards. They’re pretty fantastic. I love that we have so many creative friends.
Early in the week I had a Skype interview for BUILD. I have been trying to schedule these in the morning, because it gets HOT in my office any other time. Andrew sent out a big shipment of records and also put some finishing touches on the blinds he installed the week before.
Blinds and yardwork. Yep, we’re homeowners. Very exciting.
I put one of the business cards in a 3×4 pocket and am letting it just float there. You can see next week’s spread through the page protector, and you’ll see the back a little farther down in this post.
Sunday we spent home together most of the day, except when Andrew went over to Maggie‘s for a little Photoshop help. I barely know photoshop. Working on it, but what he needed was beyond me.
Week 24: June 10 – 16:
More BUILD, more cats, and so close to being done with work!!
My chalkboard calendar was winding down, counting off the number of days I had left in the cubicle. Considering I started with over 50 days in the cubicle, getting down to 10 felt AMAZING.
Also, I love Sprouts. I love that I can get good (mostly) local produce so inexpensively.
Trying to spend a little time in our hammock every day before it gets hot.
And you can see the back of Andrew’s business card here. He bought a customizable stamp and hand-stamped the back of all of them.
You can see I’m not reading/watching much these days. I started using all my free time to work on BUILD.
And finally, you can see the WORK card at the bottom – I don’t usually just include paraphernalia, so it was kind of fun to find this in my stash and wait to find the perfect week for it. Considering I was WORKING crazy hard on BUILD and also ending the end of my work in the cubicle, I think this works.
It’s *actually* an ad for the next Work/Life book coming out from Uppercase Magazine. But you can only tell if you look closely
