Still caught up …. 5 months later. Still loving the details and tiny moments that are recorded in this project.
Here are my Project Life spreads from the beginning of August (Aug 6-19) …. My weeks run Monday to Sunday – which I love, because they keep the weekends together in a chunk. So the images are *roughly* arranged from Monday on the left to Sunday on the right.
(if you’d like to see the images larger, you should be able to click through to view them on Flickr)
Week 19: August 6 – 12
This was the week after we were in Phoenix for the weekend – Andrew was still off work so we were able to do some fun things!
Left side:
Andrew went to a Green Day concert (since he’s in with their crew and all) and our friend Michelle visited!
Michelle and her family live in Tucson – which just far enough from Phoenix that we don’t ever make the trip to visit them when we’re in the state. But Michelle’s daughter was born in June so luckily for us, they came out to California to visit family and made the trek to see us (and our new house).
Michelle’s daughter Mary is ADORABLE
Right side:
The rest of the week, Andrew had several recording sessions and I had work (which means traffic and podcasts).
That Saturday some of my old friends (including 8 month old Harrison) came by for lunch. And then Sunday Andrew and I did work around the house.
I have been loving keeping a record of the little around-the-house jobs we’re doing in our new house.
Week 20: August 13 – 19
Mid-August. The highlight of this week was the kittens getting spayed. Poor things.
Left side:
We dropped off Fang and Khaleesi at the vet Tuesday morning…. and later Tuesday and then again Wednesday morning 2 different vet employees told us Khaleesi was “not too impressed” with the vet techs. Also, she hissed at Fang, so that’s awesome.
She’s usually such a sweetie and Fang is the crazy one.
Wednesday we went over to my in-laws…. Our nephew Joey was staying with grandma for a few days so we got to visit him.
I love that little face.
Right side:
House + work. That’s really all we do.
Sprinkler issues (Andrew *may* have killed one of the sprinkler heads while mowing). And I worked on my editing job and 30 Days of Lists. That Sunday I had several dates, including lunch with my sister-in-law and attending a ‘gender reveal’ party
Still loving this project. Still just focusing on words+photos. Still plugging away….
