September 1 will be here sooner than we think!
This week I am giving away a seat in the upcoming round of 30 Days of Lists to ONE of you lucky people!

Not everyone can make a mini scrapbook every week or an art journal page every night.
30 Days of Lists is our encouragement and challenge to you that you CAN journal just something every day- even something as small as a list.
Every day through the month of September 2012 we will be posting a list prompt – anything from weekend goals to celebrity crushes. At the end of the 30 days you’ll have a collection of entries creating a small snapshot of your life right now.
Only 5-10 minutes per day are really needed. While you’re waiting for someone, or when you’re the passenger in the car. You can even download the list topics ahead of time to get a jump start!
That’s all.
Just write.
There’s no wrong way to do this and if you don’t like a prompt on a certain day, just change it.
If you simply can’t wait to see if you win … .

The past weekend was out of the ordinary and FAB! Went to a small town in New Mexico called Ruidoso and stayed in the most adorable little cabin with two other couples. We laughed, shopped, played cards, crocheted (only me;-) and ate way more than we should have! It rained each afternoon like clockwork (which is great for us desert dwellers). We’d just duck into the nearest restaurant and delight in a sangria until the weather passed. Can’t wait to do that again!
I’ve been swearing for years I’m going to start journaling, but never quite got the hang of it. The whole idea of prompts sounds like exactly what I need! 30 Days of Lists sounds like a great project!
Regards,
Monique

Took a mini vacation to Dallas,TX with my family for my birthday. Stayed in a hotel, ate some legit Mexican food, got to go to Barnes & Noble all by myself, went to the movies and Target!
This past weekend my husband and I finished up the stairs we were making in the house we are building, I sampled some stains for the floor. Sunday we went to my parents house like we do every Sunday, my folks had cut up some firewood for us and we delivered it out to our land. We had Japanese for dinner and I made a lemonade pie for dessert.
