I’ve been adding more pages to my Summer minibook – with even more photos ‘on deck’ to add soon! SO exciting! And (honestly) our schedule for the rest of the summer is a tad overwhelming, so I know this book will be chock full by the end of the season! Or, you know, a couple weeks into September when I get around to finishing it….
I’ve been using my Summer Lovin’ journaling resource – with a couple topics already excerpted here. Check out my pages for scents of the summer and changes this summer or you can see my first few pages here …
These images are hosted at full-res on Flickr – so you should be able to click through any of these images to see the pages bigger:
Just some photos of typical summer activities around here …. it’s so hot in our bedroom in the new house. This summer the trick will be learning how to keep it cool.
Writing directly on the image with a sharpie. …. Easy.
These are all 5×7 photos, by the way….
In the image below, I used 2 of Elise’s stamps. With a date stamp IN the box for ‘Today Is’ …. Pretty fun!
Andrew has been doing so much yardwork so far since we’ve moved to a HOUSE this year. It’s got to be a huge part of this summer mini book ….
This last page (for now) is just a map I pulled from an old Sunset magazine. … I love living in SoCal and we ARE planning a little weekend away later this summer! Booked after I made this page. Let’s hear it for setting goals
….

Can I just say that I love your style? I don’t know how to describe what I’m trying to say… but I feel that most people are missing the point of memory keeping and you’re not. Does that make sense? Because it’s actually about the memoires?
Not that creating for the sake of creating isn’t completely valid. I’m feeling rambly. I’m going to stop now.
I was going to do a summer mini book, but the summer seems to have bypassed the UK! We had a few hot weeks in March and we’ve had the odd warm day (24c) but other than that we’ve just had rains, lots of it! I’m still in my jeans and cardigans and boots, my flip flops have made it out twice this year so far, and it’s 17th July! Your mini book looks great though, and the perfect way to document a new summer for you.
