You have to use a bit of artistic license for the Baked Alaska bit.
“I try to focus on the talk, which has turned to our interview costumes, when a girl sets a gorgeous looking cake on the table and deftly lights it. It blazes up and then the flames flicker around the edges awhile until it finally goes out. I have a moment of doubt “What makes it burn? Is it alcohol?” (77)
Is quoted – the idea is the you set fire to the baked alaska and the sugar in the meringue goes brown and caramelising – at least that’s how I understand it lol.
I love the Hunger Games – I want to go and see the film but no one will come with me – think I need to suck it up and get on with it!
Yay, happy early birthday! I love my birthday too– it’s a great day to do all the little things that will make YOU happy.
I think I may be the only blogger/human who hasn’t read the Hunger Games yet. I’m not sure what’s stopping me- I think it’s all the hype.
